Chaga and Turmeric Golden Milk Latte
Ingredients
2 cups Dr. Cowan’s Garden Chaga Nugget tea, brewed as directed below
2 tbsp cream or raw milk
Honey to taste
1 tsp Dr. Cowan’s Garden Turmeric powder
1 tsp cinnamon
Directions
- In a large pot, bring 2 quarts of water and several Chaga chunks to a boil. Boil for 20 minutes and then turn heat to low. Use more Chaga for a darker brew.
- Simmer chaga on low for up to five hours. Strain out the chaga chunks. Use the desired amount for this recipe, and reserve the rest for later in the refrigerator.
- In a small saucepan, heat the milk on low and add the honey stirring consistently with a whisk.
- As the milk heats up add the turmeric powder and cinnamon and whisk.
- Pour the milk mixture into the chaga tea and serve hot.
